Introduction To Travel Photography

Travel photography is a subcategory of photography involving the documentation of an area's landscape, people, cultures, traditions and history.

The aim is to produce images that express the feeling of a time and place, to portray a land, its people, or a culture in its natural state, and has no geographical limitations.

Who is a Travel Photographer?

A travel photographer is one who has eye for details, sense of place, sense of place, varied perspective and has a reasonable equipment to make a frame.

What to take?

Don’t get hung up about equipment. The best photographs are taken on the camera you have with you, rather than the one you have left at home.
